Brickwork mason — Nottingham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Nottingham, England. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
