Joiner — Laurel County

Join our team: we are hiring a joiner in Laurel County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
