Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Del Norte County, California. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches Requirements: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred.
