Panel welder — Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Putnam County, Missouri. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
