Construction labourer — Sandwell

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction labourer in Sandwell, England. You will work on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
