Roofer — Hartlepool

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofer in Hartlepool, England. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. On the job you will handle: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs You should have: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
