We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Pocahontas County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
