Vacuum press operator — Bayfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
