Pipe lagger — Hampshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Hampshire, England. The job is on a high-rise façade. You will fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around £130 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
