Crawler dozer operator — Saint Joseph County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. The job is at an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day to day you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; refuel the machine and record running hours; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
