Press setter operator — Chase County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Chase County, Kansas. The job is at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
