Port container crane operator — Smith County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Smith County, Mississippi. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) You will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
