Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Palo Pinto County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Full-time, day shift.
