Core maker wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Monroe County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
