The role involves set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean.
