CNC machine operator — Jo Daviess County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC machine operator in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
