We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble cutter in Monroe County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades 6+ years on the tools preferred.
