Render and set plasterer • Monroe County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Monroe County, New York. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred.
