Production line inspector — Vermillion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line inspector in Vermillion County, Indiana. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
