Bulldozer operator • Orange County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Orange County, Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 5+ years on the tools preferred.
