Vacancy available: we are hiring a stone mason in Cheshire East, England. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding The role involves cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers.
