Vertical transportation technician wanted in Platte County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Platte County, Missouri. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
