Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Saunders County, Nebraska. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
