Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Klickitat County, Washington. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. The role involves: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
