Die-casting operator — Moffat County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Moffat County, Colorado. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
