Construction helper wanted in Cass County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Cass County, Illinois. The job is on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Six days a week, one day off.
