Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Bronx County, New York. You will be based on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Your main tasks: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
