Mall security guard — Augusta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mall security guard in Augusta County, Virginia. The job is at a gated residential society. Day to day you will respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police. Ideal candidate: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • 1-2 years experience as a security guard Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
