Now hiring: head baker (Benue State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Apa, Benue State. You will be based at a busy bakery. On the job you will handle: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
