D6/D8 dozer operator • Floyd County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Floyd County, Virginia. You will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; refuel the machine and record running hours; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits.
