Vertical milling machine operator — Alger County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Alger County, Michigan. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
