Immediate opening: overhead (EOT) crane operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Southampton, England. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts £145 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
