Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Washington County, Kentucky. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. On a typical shift you will score the top of loaves before baking; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
