Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Sweet Grass County, Montana. You will work at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
