Brick mason — Baylor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Baylor County, Texas. The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
