Tiling assistant — Louisa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Louisa County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy tiling site. The role involves: • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
