Gas pipeline fitter — Chase County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Chase County, Nebraska. You will work in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
