Scaffold fitter — Hancock County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Hancock County, Maine. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. On the job you will handle: • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Part-time with flexible hours.
