Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Pierce County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred.
