Foundry worker — Houston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Houston County, Texas. You will work at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
