Bakery assistant wanted in Gilpin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Gilpin County, Colorado. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
