Steward — Shelby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steward in Shelby County, Iowa. You will be based at a banquet hall. Your main tasks: • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
