Milling machinist — Boone County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Boone County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls You will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
