Mobile crane operator wanted in Hancock County

Join our team: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Hancock County, Iowa. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
