Vacancy available: production machine operator (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production machine operator in Perkins County, South Dakota. You will be based on a production line. On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
