Backhoe loader operator wanted in Damban

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Damban, Bauchi State. You will be based in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension 3+ years on the tools preferred.
