Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto painter in Marion County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper.
