Banksman — Thomas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Thomas County, Georgia. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
