Brickwork mason — Scotts Bluff County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
