TIG welder — Freeborn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Freeborn County, Minnesota. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Full-time, day shift. We offer $240 per day plus benefits.
